    • PEO1: To disseminate excellent education in field of mechanical engineering to have multidisciplinary development of students in order to serve to society.
    • PEO2: To furnish students with professional evolution through basic knowledge of mechanical engineering.
    • PEO3: To strive for comprehensive personality development of students so as to nurture not only as technocrats but also a responsible citizen.
    • PEO4: To develop practical, analytical, computational skills in students to solve the problems related to mechanical engineering.
    • PEO5: To imprint ethical values in students and aware them about the latest developments in the field of engineering and technology.
    • PEO6: To recognize the importance of higher studies and lifelong learning so as to adopt the ever changing technologies, need of industry and society.

    Program Specific Outcomes

    • PSO1: As a graduate Mechanical Engineer shall be able to apply the basic Knowledge of engineering to solve the practical problems.
    • PSO2: Ability to design a system or component or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability.
    • PSO3: Ability to work in teams and apply interpersonal skills in engineering contexts.
    • PSO4: An understanding of professional, social and ethical responsibility and to communicate effectively.
    • PSO5: Ability to apply appropriate tools, techniques and understand utilization of resources appropriately to complex mechanical engineering activities.
    • PSO6: Ability to adapt to the changes and advancements in technology and engage in independent and lifelong learning.

    • Department has well equipped laboratories with sophisticated equipments as per the norms of AICTE/DTE and University.
    • The Department has well established CAD/CAM laboratory and special features like AUTOCAD, ANSYS and SOLID WORKS, SOLIDCAM with COSMOS simulation and design software, 3D modelling and analysis and CNC Lathe are available.
